![]() Every other year, I install it, hoping to love it, and then give up after a couple weeks. TES series: I don't know why I can't get to love Morrowind - but I can't. Maybe because in Poland, Gothic is basically synonymous with RPG. Witcher series: aside from much stronger focus on story and morality, it's actually quite similar to Gothic. But I do love it a lot, and wish to find some other games like it. So hard, in fact, that I've created entire post in hopes of finding it out. It's hard for me to say why I love Gothic so much. Make sure you don't suggest things in bold and you can safely skip it = = the rest of the post is just me sharing thoughts on a bunch of games I played. "Hand-crafted" open world (small and dense) Lots of non-combat side-quests (that one is really important) I'm looking for games with the feel and gameplay similar to original two Gothic games.
